This song tells my story: “I will not stand idly by watching freedom slip away.”

My appeal is to all freedom-loving Americans, whether you are a Democrat, Independent, or Republican. Vote for Freedom! People say, "Don't talk about religion and politics!" What they are not acknowledging is that politicians have a some type of religion or world view. There are two forms of government: one is based on freedom, and the other is not. I am a Father, husband, and musician. I was born in Cuba in 1956 and came to the USA as a political exile. My family and I came legally. I am a naturalized citizen and patriot standing for freedom! I can't believe there are socialists in our Congress and that our American peers voted them in. Those that advocate socialism have been deceived into believing that it works. It doesn't work! It buries every nation that accepts it. Socialism completely denies America's origins and true identity. America was founded on the Freedom, Independence, and Sovereignty of the individual. America's founding fathers recognized our dependence upon God, who gave us the inalienable right to freedom, as stated in our founding documents, the Declaration of Independence and Constitution. Free individuals make up a free and sovereign nation. In contrast, under socialism, the state effectively becomes god, and there are strict limits on individual choice and advancement. The state owns everything, and it imposes it's will (devoid of any religious or biblical guidance) on individuals. Socialism strips its citizens of those rights through control. The government controls everything, and everyone is a slave to the state. Socialism, Communism, Authoritarianism, Totalitarianism, and most recently, a drift towards Globalism - call it what you will; it's all the same. The goal is to strip away the individual's freedom through total control and by force when necessary. Wake up, America! Turn back to the God of our Fathers who gave us this great country and all its freedoms and honor those who have sacrificed themselves to preserve it!
